Ochazuke お茶漬け
Ochazuke is my soul food. (tea over rice with pickled vegetables).
お茶漬けが好きです。
A common way to pickle vegetables is using rice bran bed, which is hard to get in the U.S. I made my own pickling bed using homemade bread (from scratch with homemade raisin yeast!)
糠漬けは入手が難しいので、自分で酵母から作ったパンにビールと塩でパン床を作り、お漬物を作り、大好きなお茶漬けライフが豊かになっています。

Tear hard bread to small pieces.
Pour beer to soften the bread
Add t1~T1 salt (depending on the container)
Bury vegetables in bed
*simple bread like baguette, sourdough, Italian bread is recommended.
