Chasing Camellias
Drawn to the beautiful of the camellia in our backyard, I arranged the flower on the Valentine’s day.
Today was another beautiful day, the first day of spring in the lunar calendar. I visited Hakone Japanese Garden who celebrated its 100th year in 2017.
My focus today was of course their camellia garden located the Upper Moon Viewing House. A little uphill in the shade felt good to my body.
I’ve only come here during summer and the camellia area then were beaches with deep green leaves. In season, I was surprised by the many different kinds and colors of camellia. There was only me around during a late afternoon on weekday, though I was just so so happy, almost running around and enjoying them from all angles. I really love to look at the flowers. I shall come again soon.
