Scout Caravan for Calligraphy in Osaka 書道家のためのスカウトキャラバン in Osaka

I was honored to receive the 2020 Award, second place, in a calligraphy audition event, the 2nd Scout Caravan for Calligraphers taken place in Osaka, Japan and online on August 14th (13th in US time). The competition was hosted by Shodō no Hanamichi, a calligraphy school in Tokyo led by my dear mentor and friend, Hanako Takamiya.

I thank Hanako sensei, and the staff at Hanamichi, the audience and all the supporters of the event, as well as the other seven dear calligraphers who stood on the same stage as me, sharing the same passion.

I will continue to study diligently to spread love and peace through Japanese calligraphy.

去る8月13日（日本時間では8月14日）、敬愛する高宮華子先生率いる東京の書道スクール書道のはな⭐︎みち主催の「書道家のためのスカウトキャラバン」が行われました。当日大阪会場には5人のそしてオンラインでは3人の書道家が集まり切磋琢磨するという素晴らしい舞台で、第2位の「2020年賞」という名誉ある賞をいただくことができました。改めまして、華子先生はじめ、はな⭐︎みちの皆様、同じ想いでステージに立った大好きな書道家の皆様、応援してくださった皆様、スポンサーの皆様、本当にありがとうございました。

書で世界をより良くできるよう、さらに心を引き締め精進して参ります。

キャラバン当日までの経緯、想い、キャラバンから広がったご縁などシリーズ化していきたいと思います。
