I was honored to receive the 2020 Award, second place, in a calligraphy audition event, the 2nd Scout Caravan for Calligraphers taken place in Osaka. 書道家のためのスカウトキャラバンにて「2020年賞」という名誉ある賞をいただくことができました。

We, as a calligrapher, pour our heart and soul onto the paper, lock it on using line and spaces, to converse with the audience seen and unseen, passing through time and space. 私達書道家は、筆を通して心を線と余白で紙に封じ、観ている方と、又はまだ観ぬ方と、時空を超えて対話する。それを既にもう楽しんでいる。そんなスケールで生きている。
September Calligraphy Class〜Moon Viewing 9月の書のクラス〜月見酒
This month’s calligraphy is 月見酒ーtsukimi zake. It means to admire the moon while enjoying tasty sake and feeling happy.今月の書は、「月見酒」。美しいお月さまを見上げながら、美味しいお酒を呑んでいい気分に浸りましょう、という意味を込めて。
