April Calligraphy Class 4月の書のクラス

As the new era approaching, we worked on “Reiwa-令和“ in our April calligraphy class. Since we practiced these characters the week before using Hanako sensei’s worksheet, these characters must have felt a little bit familiar.

This is the first time we tried to write two kanji characters in a sheet of paper, and there is more to pay attention with two kanji such as center line, balance, and size. But despite that, everyone’s work came out very relaxed and wonderful as always!

This was the first time trying calligraphy for my newest Japanese student, but she nailed it!

We have such a positive energy in class and always filled with laughter.

4月の書のクラスは「令和」。元号の発表と共に日本でご活躍の書道家高宮華子先生のプリントで、前週に練習していたので、少し書き慣れていましたね。

今回は初めて半紙に二文字で挑戦。二文字になると中心の取り方やバランスにも気を払う必要がありますが、みなさんとてものびのびと書くことができました！

最近日本語のクラスにも参加し始めたロシア人の生徒さんは、書に初挑戦。

素晴らしい作品ができました！

クラスはいつも笑いに囲まれて、良い気で満たされています。皆さんとの学びに感謝です。ありがとうございました。
