Centennial Postal Stamps 100周年記念切手
The cherry blossoms along the Tidal Basin are one of the iconic scenes of spring in the U.S. Capital in Washington, D.C. In this episode, I take a look at the history of trees exchanged between the U.S. and Japan, and the efforts of keeping the friendship alive and continuing for our countries.
This “gift of friendship” stamp was designed jointly by US postal services and Japan Post to celebrate the centennial anniversary of friendship through gifting cherry and dogwood trees.
