Sakura in My Hometown 故郷の桜

I moved around a lot within Osaka when I was little. The last place before I left Japan was the Southern part of Osaka on the beautiful mountainside. 

In the spring, my old friend delivers these beautiful pictures from our hometown. The developer of the area planted Sakura cherry trees along the outside loop of the neighborhood and  30 years later, the sight is magnificent. The cherry trees paint the whole mountain pink.

My friend graciously agreed for me to post the cherry tree pictures along the route I used to take a walk. Thank you, my friend!

小さい頃大阪を転々とした私ですが、最後にいたところは南河内。山に囲まれたとても綺麗な場所でした。

春になると幼馴染が届けてくれる故郷の桜。この住宅地ができ始めた頃、桜は植えられたのは30年以上前。今では立派な桜になって山全体が桜色に。
