Rank Promotion Exam 書の検定

My rank promotion exam is on the way to Japan this week.  There are 4 exams a year at my school and it is my second this year.

The school-approved specific paper, semi, and brush must be used to qualify and the name must be written in the back with a pencilーThe total anonymousness for a fair judging. 

The assignment had six kanji (characters):

明月照白雲籠  

The bright moon shining /The white clouds filling the sky in harmony

What a beautiful scenery.  Especially perfect for the month of Moon Viewing festival.

For the last month, I enjoyed my time with my brush thinking of the round moon and the fun time making dumplings.

今年最後の検定試験を郵送しました。年に4回行われる昇段試験。

今年二回目の受験です。

検定では紙も、墨も、筆も、全て指定のものを使います。そして名前は裏に鉛筆で書き、徹底的に字だけを監査されます。

毎回課題がありますが、今回は、なんとも同じような部位の漢字が並んでいる！！

明月照白雲籠「明月はこうこうと照りわたり、白雲も和して立ちこめている」

10月は中秋の名月、十五夜があったおかげで、お月様や楽しかったお団子作りを思い浮かべながらの１ヶ月。気持ち良く練習、お清書することができました。
